Terms and Conditions for Bed and Breakfast Accommodation Provider

  1.        The Covered area of the Room should not be less then 100 sqft. We have two categories of Bed and Breakfast First Standard PG with AC and PG without AC and the Second is Premium Bed and Breakfast category respectively.
  2. In Standard category rates are standardized and will be decided by OnlinePG.com. For standard Accommodation provider OnlinePG pays Rs 450 for Standard non-Air conditioned accommodation and Rs. 650 to Standard Air conditioned accommodation.   3. In Premium Category the accommodation Provider has got the right to decide his/her own rate for his/her accommodation with Premium category terms and conditions apply on this category. There are a lot of mandatory services required to be provided to the guest if some one opt for this premium category.Click Conditions to know more about the mandatory terms and conditions for standard and Premium category.
  4. The room should be neat and clean. Well maintained and well equipped house and guest rooms with quality carpets/ area rugs/ tiles or marble flooring, furniture, fittings etc.
  5. Bathroom Preferably to be attached it should also be neat and clean along with toiletries. WC toilet to have a seat and lid, toilet paper etc. 24 hours running hot & cold water with proper sewerage connections
  6. The Room should have a proper double bed. No folding beds are allowed. Rooms should be clean, airy, pest free, without dampness and with outside window/ ventilation.
  7. Room should also have two chairs a small table fair Size Mirror, Two Glasses and a dustbin.
  8. The accommodation provider shall provide clean Drinking water filter/mineral water.
  9. Sufficient parking with adequate road width.
  10. Comfortable bed with good quality linen & bedding .
  11. Air-conditioning / heating depending on climatic conditions with room temperature between 20 to 25 degrees Centigrade in the offered room.
  12. An Iron with iron board on request by the guest.
  13. Wardrobe with at least 4 clothes hangers in the guest room.
  14. Name, address and telephone number of doctors to be present in the guest room in case of emergency.
  15. If the Provider is providing the TV facility in the room then it should have proper cable connection.
  16. If the accommodation provider is giving facility of food then it should be hygienic with good quality cutlery and crockery. OnlinePG is not charging for the food for standard category where as food is mandatory in premium category so if the provider is providing the food to the guest then the charges for the food should be first told to the guest if agreed then paid by the guest himself/herself to the provider.
  17. Room charges will be charged by the OnlinePG at the time of booking so the providers are not allowed to charge rent from the guest.
  18. Providers are directed not to discuss and share any personal details / affairs with the Guest.
  19. Provider will provide a duplicate key of the guest room to the Guest on his/her arrival.
  20. The check out time is 12:00 noon. The provider will not force the Guest to leave before 12:00 noon.
  21. At the time of Checkout the Provider will check the Room and ensure every thing provided to the guest is in place and in proper shape. If there is any dispute at their end OnlinePG is not responsible for that.
  22. OnlinePG will reconcile all the bookings in the end of every week on receipt of bill of accommodation provider for payment and will pay the Accommodation provider the subsequent week either by check or electronic transfer.
  23. It is the responsibility of the Provider to pay any applicable tax on the earnings from the rented accommodation.
  24. If a Guest wants to extend his/her stay for more days then the Provider will inform the OnlinePG regarding this and if the guest pays for the extended stay to the OnlinePG only then with confirmation from the OnlinePG guest will be allowed to stay or extend his/her stay.
  25. An Inspecting officer from OnlinePG will visit the Rented Accommodation Provider for thorough inspection if the Inspecting officer is not satisfied with the Hygiene, cleanliness and other services provided to the guest then OnlinePG will terminate the contract with the accommodation provider and will take off the accommodation provider listing from the website and will not send any booking until the contract is renewed after complying with all the terms and conditions of the contract by the provider.
  26. A facility of Extra Bed to be kept by the provider if a booking is done where an extra bed is required by the Guest then the provider should have an extra bed (Folding Bed can be used for extra bed) for the guest with proper Mattress, Pillow, Blankets, Bed sheets, Bed Sheet for Blanket.
  27. Provider will provide a small Travel size soap per guest and will also provide a Plastic Bucket and bathing Mug in the Bathroom.
  28. A mosquito repellant should be provided in the room. For e.g. (allout, mortine etc) no mosquito repellant like burning coils are allowed.
  29. It is the duty and moral obligation of the provider to provide a peaceful and warm atmosphere to the guest.
  30. Guest and Accommodation provider are requested to check the Photo ID of the inspecting officer before allowing them to enter the House. If not satisfied by the photo ID of the Inspecting officer then it can be confirmed by calling the customer care number 0172- 4654300 of the OnlinePG.
  31. No Services of Prostitution or any unlawful activities are allowed in the OnlinePG Bed and Breakfast accommodation and if found guilty then local law will be forced and the contract will be terminated and OnlinePG will not be liable for any loss of Business or Payments to the Accommodation provider.
  32. Any Breach of contract and terms and condition will result in to contract termination and OnlinePG will not be liable for any payments or losses / Business losses caused due to termination of the Contract.
  33. Room Service provided to the guest is the sole discretion of the Accommodation provider
  34. All disputes with OnlinePG will subject to Chandigarh Jurisdiction.
  35. In case of any dispute the rights of the accommodation provider is restricted to the amount of booking only.
  36. All Applicable taxes will be born by the provider himself/herself.
  37. Maintenance of register for guest check-in and check-out records including passport details in case of foreign tourists is the entire duty of the accommodation provider. It is also the duty of the Accommodation Provider to register his/her accommodation with the local police / authorized registration agencies. All Record should be available for local Law enforcing authorities and abide by the rules of the local law.
  38. OnlinePG reserves the right to cancel or delist any listing from the website anytime without assigning any reason to the accommodation provider.
  39. The Guest is required to intimate the accommodation provider his approximate time of arrival not later then 6 Hours in advance from the check in time / date.
  40. In case of No Show of by the guest the Bed and Breakfast accommodation provider will be paid only 25% of the booking amount of the first day and the room will be again restored on the availability listing of the OnlinePG website immediately.
  41. The contract of provider with OnlinePG is valid for 1 year and is renewable on mutually agreed terms.
  42. Accommodation registration Process is simple Accommodation providers can register their accommodation on our website for free. As an inaugural offer verification charges for a standard category registration are Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) and for Premium Category registration charges are Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) respectively. (The verification charges are subject to increase at the finish of inaugural offer.) The Verification charges to be paid to OnlinePg.com in form of Cheque/Demand Draft in favor of Gmax e Solutions payable at Chandigarh. On receipt of the cheque/DD a Verification officer from OnlinePG.com or its authorized agency will visit your accommodation for thorough inspection. The accommodation provider must ask for the photo ID of the inspecting officer.
  43. Getting registered or getting your accommodation listed on www.OnlinePG.com does not guarantee to give any fixed days for booking the Listing will be available to the Guests/customers online and if they choose and like the profile of your accommodation then they can book the accommodation.
  44. ONLINEPG reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the ONLINEPG websites are offered, including but not limited to the charges. The user is responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
  45. If you do not want guest to book your accommodation for a while for example if the accommodation you are providing is not available or you are using for your own purpose then you have to deactivate you room listing from our website this can be done by simply deactivating your rooms by logging on to your profile on our website or by calling to our call centre at 0172 4654 300 and getting it deactivated.
